Growth Marketing Lead

About the role

Insighthread is an AI research app for self-directed investors. It turns every SEC filing and insider trade for 6,000+ US public companies into plain-English news within about 90 seconds of filing, with an AI analyst that cites its sources.

We are looking for someone to own growth for the app. You will find the investors who need it, get them to try it, and turn the 7-day free trial into a paid plan at $30 a month or $300 a year.

What you'll do

• Own the funnel from first visit to paid subscription, and keep the tracking honest so we can see where people drop off.
• Plan and run paid tests on X, Meta and other channels, with small budgets, a clear goal for each test and a written result.
• Write and ship content investors search for: SEO pages, blog posts, the weekly newsletter and social posts built on real filings.
• Talk to users. Run short interviews, watch session recordings and bring what you learn back to the product and the site.
• Work with the product team on onboarding and trial-to-paid conversion.
• Share a short weekly note on what moved, what did not, and what you will try next.

Who you are

• You have grown a consumer subscription product, ideally in investing, fintech or another app people pay for monthly.
• You are hands-on. You can write the copy, set up the campaign and read the numbers yourself.
• You are comfortable in GA4, ad managers and basic funnel analysis.
• You invest, or you are curious about markets and happy to learn what a Form 4 or an 8-K is.
• You write clearly and can explain a detailed product in one sentence.
• You work well remotely, with a lot of ownership and little hand-holding.

Nice to have

• You have reached investors on X, Reddit, YouTube or through newsletters.
• SEO experience on a content site.
• Lifecycle email: onboarding, trial and win-back sequences.
• Basic SQL, or comfort pulling your own numbers.
• You know the basics of marketing a financial product without making investment-advice claims.
